We Looked at What Others Charge For

Password protection on WeTransfer? That's $12/month. Download tracking on most services? Hidden behind a paid tier. Ads covering your share page? Pay to remove them.

We thought about this for a while. Charging for basic security features felt wrong. So we stopped.

What You Get for Free

Sign up — no credit card needed — and you get:

Password-protected links — set a password on any shared file

Download statistics — see who downloaded your files and when

No ads — clean share pages, nothing getting in the way

5 GB storage — enough for most one-off transfers

7-day file expiry — files auto-delete so you don't have to

What's Behind the Paywall

Only two things separate free from paid: storage space and expiry time.

Free gives you 5 GB with 7-day expiry. Pro bumps that to 500 GB and 30-day expiry, plus custom branding with your logo and a receive page for collecting files from clients. Two tiers. No feature gating of basics.

Why We Did This

Password protection isn't a premium feature. It's a basic expectation. If someone sends you a file with sensitive data, a password should be there by default. Not locked behind a subscription.

Same with download stats. You should know if your file was received. That's not a luxury.

We make money from people who need more storage and longer expiry. That's a fair trade. Paywalling security is not.
