You are trusting us with files that matter, often client work. Here is exactly how we protect them, in transit, at rest, and after they land, with no jargon and no fine print.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Every upload and download runs over HTTPS (TLS), and files are encrypted at rest in object storage. Nobody can read your file off the wire or off the disk.
Password protection and one-time links
Lock any link with a password so only the person you send it to can open it, or use a one-time link that deletes itself after a single download. Both are available on every plan, including Free.
Automatic deletion on a timer
You choose an expiry from one hour up to a year (by plan). When the timer reaches zero the file is permanently removed from storage. Nothing lingers, and there is no manual cleanup to forget.
Malware scanning on every upload
Every file is scanned with ClamAV before its download link goes live. Infected files are quarantined and never delivered, so a bad file can't reach your recipient through your link.
We never train AI on your files
Your files are yours. We do not read them, sell them, or use them to train any AI model, ever. There are no third-party ads or tracking scripts on your download pages.
Accountable and abuse-resistant
We run a registered DMCA policy and a report button on every download page. Reported links are reviewed and violations are taken down, so your links stay on a clean, trustworthy platform.

Is EasyFileUpload secure?
Yes. Transfers run over HTTPS, files are encrypted at rest, every upload is malware-scanned with ClamAV, and you can password-protect links or make them delete after a single download. Files auto-delete when their timer ends, so nothing is stored longer than you choose.
Are my files encrypted?
Yes, in both directions. Uploads and downloads are encrypted in transit with TLS (HTTPS), and files are encrypted at rest in object storage.
Do you train AI on my files or read them?
No, never. We do not read, sell, or use your files to train any AI model. Your download pages carry no third-party ads or tracking scripts.
Where are my files stored, and can I keep them in the EU?
Files are stored in encrypted object storage with a European storage region available, which helps with GDPR and data-residency needs. Because files auto-delete on expiry, data is not retained indefinitely.
How long are my files kept?
Only until the expiry you set. Free links last up to 7 days, Assured up to 30 days, and Studio up to a year. Anonymous (no-account) uploads expire in 24 hours. When the timer ends, the file is permanently deleted.
How do you handle abusive or infringing files?
Every upload is malware-scanned before delivery, every download page has a report button, and we operate a registered DMCA takedown process. Reported or infringing links are reviewed and removed.
